About Élan Films, a wedding photography studio in Bengaluru

Élan Films is a wedding photography and film studio based in Nagasandra, Bengaluru. It covers weddings and pre-wedding shoots in Bengaluru and the places around it (Coorg, Chikmagalur, Mysuru, Hampi, Kabini and Sakleshpur), in Goa and in Kerala, with destination shoots in Sri Lanka, Thailand and Bali. It is new, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise with a decade of stock language.

What the studio is built on is a single argument: that almost everything worth keeping from a wedding happens while somebody is moving, and that the standard practice of stopping people and arranging them is a way of avoiding the harder photograph rather than a style choice. Working that way needs faster glass, more anticipation and more frames discarded. It is the reason the studio exists.

What is not on this site

What you will not find here yet is a portfolio of our own, a client count, ratings or reviews. The photographs on other pages are by other photographers, credited under each image, and none of them is an Élan wedding. When our own work goes up it will be complete sets rather than thirty good frames, shown only with the couple's permission.

Until then, what we can show you is how we think: how a day gets planned, how a figure gets built, how a Bengaluru wedding is covered, what each location actually demands, and the guides.

How we check what we publish

• Price figures are observed market bands, dated September 2026. They are not an Élan rate card and are not drawn from a published survey, so treat them as a rough guide and check any quote against them.
• Drone and airspace notes follow India's drone rules and the Digital Sky airspace map. Rules change, so each page tells you what to check for your venue rather than promising a flight.
• Permissions and fees at parks, monuments, temples, churches and estates are set by whoever runs them. Where we are not certain of a rule, the page says to confirm it with them before planning. We do not print fee amounts we cannot verify.
• Ritual running orders vary by family. Community guides describe what is widely documented and ask you to give the photographer your own order in writing.
• Every guide shows when it was published and last reviewed.

Us. A new studio should be interrogated more, not less. The questions worth asking any photographer were written to be used on us as much as on anyone else, and we will answer all of them in writing.
