Pre-weddingIndia and abroad
Pick the place last.
Most couples start with where, which is why so many pre-wedding sets look the same — everyone is choosing from the same twenty locations. Start with what you want it to feel like and the list gets shorter, stranger and better.
The method
You will be given things to do, not poses to hold.
"Act natural" produces the least natural photographs ever taken. What works is having something to do — walk there, tell each other that, react to this. Movement solves self-consciousness, which is the whole reason this studio is built the way it is.
If you are forty minutes in and still being positioned by the shoulders, something has gone wrong. That applies to us as much as to anyone else you might hire.
Where
Six places we know properly
Each of these pages is what it actually takes to shoot there — permissions, the hour the light works, when the crowd arrives, and the thing that goes wrong if nobody planned for it.
Worth saying
Not every couple should do one.
If neither of you likes being photographed, a full-day production in an unfamiliar country is not the place to discover it — and having a bad experience before the wedding makes the wedding itself harder.
A short session close to home, doing something you would have done anyway, is often the better version of this. We will say so if we think it is, which is not the advice that maximises the invoice.
Questions couples ask
How much does a pre-wedding shoot cost?
A local half-day sits in a market band of roughly ₹25,000 to ₹90,000 depending on crew and whether location permissions are needed. A destination shoot runs from about ₹1,00,000 upward once crew travel and days on the ground are counted. The variable that moves it most is not the location — it is how many days the crew is away from home.
How long does a pre-wedding shoot take?
A half day covers one location properly — about three hours, including the thirty minutes at the start when everybody is still self-conscious. A full day covers two locations if they are close. Three locations in a day means shooting in transit rather than in good light.
What should we wear for a pre-wedding shoot?
Two outfits, one comfortable and one dressed. Each change costs about forty minutes once travel, changing and hair are counted, and the good light does not wait. If a third is essential, make it a change of shirt rather than a full change.
Where can we do a pre-wedding shoot from Bangalore?
Within the city and a morning's drive: Lalbagh, Cubbon Park, Nandi Hills, Hesaraghatta, Devanahalli Fort and the Manchanabele side. Further afield, Goa and Kerala are a short flight, and Sri Lanka is the shortest international option — close enough to shoot over a long weekend, which Bali is not.
EnquireA written answer the same day
Tell us about the two of you first.
The month, the city and roughly how many events. That is enough for a real answer about the date and a coverage plan with a figure on it.
What happens after you send this
- The date, answered first. Free or not free, in writing, usually the same day. If we are not free we say so instead of stalling, and we will say what we would look for in whoever you book instead.
- A coverage plan for your events, not a package number. Which events need two cameras and which need one, where the light runs out, and what that comes to. The figure arrives with the reasoning attached.
- A call before anyone signs anything. Twenty minutes on how you want the day to feel and how much camera you actually want in your face. Some couples want to forget we are there; some want to be directed. The answer changes what we quote.
